Today, four Military Brat students excelled in their interviews, credited to the exceptional guidance of MNS qualified educators Priyanka Ma'am, Dr. Mekhla Mam, and Monishka Mam. The students set a remarkable record in selection.
The interview questions revolved around various subjects and practical scenarios:

1. Introduction & Favorite Subject:
- Students introduced themselves and shared their favorite subjects.
Example Question:
Interviewer: "Could you please introduce yourself and tell us about your favorite subject?"
Example Answer:
Student: "Certainly. My name is [Student's Name], and I've always been passionate about pediatric nursing. I find the care and support provided to children during their vulnerable stages immensely rewarding."
2. Pediatric Nursing:
- Questions on pediatric triage and the essential qualities of a pediatric nurse were asked.
- Discussion on the importance of not placing certain toys bedside for children's safety.
Example Question:
Interviewer: "What are the key qualities you believe a pediatric nurse should possess?"
Example Answer:
Student: "In my opinion, patience, empathy, and keen observation skills are crucial for a pediatric nurse. Additionally, being able to communicate effectively with both children and their parents is vital for providing comprehensive care."
3. Area of Interest & Medical Scenarios:
- Further questions delved into the students' areas of interest.
- Scenarios included managing alcohol withdrawal in patients, handling dengue cases, understanding reasons for mental illness in adolescents, and familiarity with the POSCO Act related to child protection.
- Knowledge about communicable diseases was also assessed.
Example Question:
Interviewer: "Can you walk us through your approach to managing alcohol withdrawal in a patient?"
Example Answer:
Student: "Certainly. The first step would involve assessing the patient's withdrawal symptoms and determining the severity. Depending on the severity, medications such as benzodiazepines may be administered to alleviate symptoms and prevent complications. Additionally, providing a supportive environment and counseling the patient on the importance of abstinence are essential components of the treatment plan."
Through rigorous preparation under the mentorship of Priyanka Ma'am, Dr. Mekhla Mam, and Monishka Mam, the students demonstrated profound understanding and competence in nursing practices and medical management, earning them well-deserved success in the interview process.
