The Military Nursing Service (MNS) notification for the B.Sc Nursing Course 2024 has been released by the Join Indian Army. Here are the key details:
Course Commencement: The B.Sc Nursing Course 2024 will commence in 2024 at the Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services.
Eligibility Criteria:
Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English, with not less than 50% aggregate marks.
NEET (UG) 2024 Score: Candidates seeking admission for the B.Sc Nursing course at AFMS institutions must mandatorily qualify the NEET (UG) 2024 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Age Limits: Candidates should be born between October 1, 1999, and September 30, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Physical Standards:
Minimum acceptable height for candidates is 152 cm with correlated weight.
For North East candidates, the height requirement is relaxed by 4 cm (required height: 148 cm).
Selection Procedure:
Shortlisting through NEET (UG) 2024 Score: Candidates must qualify the NEET (UG) 2024 examination.
Test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGlGE): A computer-based test with 40 questions (2 marks each, maximum 80 marks). Negative marking applies.
Psychological Assessment Test (PAT): Qualifying examination (score not considered for final merit list).
Interview: Candidates will be called for an interview based on merit from the written test.
Final Merit List: Selection based on combined merit of written test and interview, subject to medical fitness.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear stages I and II of the written test and interview will undergo a medical examination.
Application Fees: The online application processing fee is Rs 200/- (no fee for SC/ST), payable online.
