Application Details for BSc Nursing Course in AFMS

Introduction:
Applications are invited from female candidates who have qualified NEET (UG)-2024 for admission to the four-year BSc (Nursing) Course starting in 2024 at Colleges of Nursing under Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). This includes a screening process involving NEET scores, Computer Based Test, Psychological Assessment, and Interview.
Eligibility Conditions:
Female candidates who are unmarried/divorced/legally separated/widow without encumbrances.
Nationality: Citizen of India.
Date of Birth: Between 01 Oct 1999 and 30 Sep 2007 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Physical Standards: Minimum height required is 152 cm, with relaxation for candidates from Hill and North Eastern States.
SC/ST Candidates: Mandatory possession of SC/ST certificate.
NCC ‘C’ Candidates: Required to upload NCC ‘C’ certificate.
Screening Process:
Shortlisting based on NEET (UG) 2024 scores.
Verification of Documents at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt.
Test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGIGE) via Computer Based Test.
Psychological Assessment and Interview.
Medical Examination by Special Medical Board (SMB) at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt.
Final Selection:
Based on combined merit of NEET (UG) 2024 scores, ToGIGE score, Psychological Assessment, and Interview, subject to medical fitness. Merit list will determine college allocation.
Admission and Agreement:
Successful candidates will sign an Agreement/Bond to serve in Armed Forces Medical Services as MNS officers.
Withdrawal Policy:
Candidates withdrawing from the course will be liable to pay bond money proportionate to training duration.
How to Apply:
Register through www.joinindianarmy.nic.in after NEET (UG) 2024 results.
Pay Rs 200/- as application processing fee (except SC/ST candidates).
Take printout of filled application and payment confirmation page.
Regularly check JIA website for updates.
